Eric Thornsbury is a Principal Technical Leader in the Risk and Safety Management program, supporting the Advanced Nuclear Technology program. His current responsibilities include leading technical research projects with a focus on the use of Risk Analysis in advanced nuclear plant design, licensing, and operation. Prior to joining EPRI in 2022, Eric was a Director and Consultant with ERIN Engineering & Jensen Hughes for 15 years, after previously serving at the US NRC for 10 years in the Office of Nuclear Regulatory Research and as an ACRS Senior Staff Engineer.
